We’ve had a chance to be a part of this program and must stay it is amazing!!
The fall Children’s Gardening Program kicks off September 6, treating kids to a cool new season of gardening fun, fresh food, and nature exploration in the Ruth Rea Howell Family Garden. Sprouts and Crafters will plant, tend, and harvest lettuce, radishes, carrots, and more; learn about such themes as the changing seasons, our fall forest, and migration; and take the Iron Chef Challenge. As harvest season kicks in, they’ll build their own scarecrows to stand guard over their crops until it’s ready to share with friends!
