Valentine crafts are always fun, but making handmade Valentine’s Day cards just like ones from the 19th century is even more awesome. This event is always so fun every year at Bartow Pell Mansion, so the mansion has offered to give away a free spot to a child on the February 8th workshop!
To Enter: Leave a comment letting us know why you think your child would love this! Random winner will be selected.

Victorian Valentine Workshop
Saturday, February 8, 1–3 p.m.
Show that you care—not with a boring, store-bought card, but with a handmade, full-of-charm, sure-to-woo original creation. Learn about the history of valentines and the use of printed “scraps” used to make them in the 19th century while you craft your own memorable card. A fun workshop for the whole family!
Registration required. Cost $10 adults; $8 students, seniors, & members

My daughter loves to create things, and has never been to Bartow-pell. Sadly, as a lifelong bronxite, I’ve only been there once!

My youngest loves crafts and this would be a great activity for her to do. Bartow-Pell is a great place to go back in time!
