Giveaway: Dunkin Donuts and Make A Wish

We want to share a fun giveaway with you that is also for a great cause. As part of an ongoing commitment to give back to the community, Dunkin’ Donuts is proud to announce the launch of a new charitable program called “Wishes DelivereD.”  As part of a partnership with non-profit organization Make-A-Wish Foundation, Dunkin’ Donuts is kicking off a month-long effort to grant the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions in four New York Metro area markets.

TO ENTER: Let us know something fun you’ve done with your children or plan to do to teach them about helping others. Then, let us know which of the following steps you have taken to spread the word and help raise more money:

Between April 1, 2012 and April 30, 2012 you can do the following to help out:

•Become a Facebook fan of Dunkin’ Donuts and the brand will donate $1 to the Make-A-Wish Foundation.

•Follow Dunkin’ Donuts on Twitter (@dunkinmetrony) and the brand will donate $1 to the         Make-A-Wish Foundation.

•For every $25 custom “Wishes DelivereD” Dunkin’ Donuts gift card purchased at                www.ddwishesdelivered.com, the brand will donate $1 to the Make-A-Wish Foundation.  In      addition, people purchasing the gift card will be given the option to receive an additional $5          on the card or donate the $5 to Make-A-Wish Foundation.

  2. I try to teach my toddler to respect the planet and of it’s inhabitants by fostering an appreciation for animals and their homes. We visit NYC zoo and gardens.

  3. My kids are young so when they get older I plan on having a toy day giveaway where we spend part of our day playing with old toys one last time before we give them away. I’m a fan of Dunkins on twitter.

  4. Every Christmas we “adopt” a local family and buy for them what is on their wishlist such as food and clothing. I plan on getting my kids involved once they are old enough. Thank you for the giveaway!

  11. I plan on bringing them to a local Boys and Girls club so they can see that others aren’t as fortunate as they are, but they’re still in the same boat – just kids wanting to have fun!

  22. our church has a homeless shelter in town and we’ve donated and spent time there as a family.

  23. We donate clothes to goodwill, we write letters to the heros in our community and make them pictures. I try to make my kids aware of the bigger picture and teach them the importance of helping others.
