Black Friday Shopping Guide 2011

With holiday budgets tighter than ever, Black Friday is a great way to save some cash while scoring great gifts for your partners and kids this year. If you’re up for the challenge then check out the deals below, secure a sitter, some caffeine, and get ready to save some bucks. 

Toys R Us
Toys R Us is opening its doors at 9pm on Thanksgiving Day with sales lasting until 1pm on Black Friday. Big steals include a $50 gift card with purchase of any Ipod Touch, Leapfrog Leapster 2 for $24.99 (a 50% savings), 50% off popular toys for boys and girls including WWE, Transformers, Barbie, Tonka as well as buy one get one free for brands such as Disney Princess. Target
Target will be closed on Thanksgiving Day to prepare for it’s massive Black Friday event. It is  opening its doors at midnight on Black Friday with sales continuing on Saturday from 8am to 11pm. Some of their major offerings this year include a 46 inch flat screen TV for $298, an XBOX 360 for $139.99, Amazon Kindle Keyboard 3G for $85. Popular toys like Barbie, Cabbage Patch, Disney Princess, Hot Wheels, Legos and Fisher Price are also being sold at deep, deep discounts up to 50%.

Old Navy Gobblepalooza
Old Navy’s Black Friday event is a three day sale called the Gobblepalooza featuring printable coupons offering $10 off purchases of $50 or more on Thursday, a free Kodak camera with a $40 purchase on Friday and the entire store goes on sale on Saturday.
