Outside the Bronx:2010 QUIDDITCH WORLD CUP COMES TO NEW YORK CITY

Formerly an annual event held in Vermont, this two-day tournament will be apparating to the Big Apple this year. The tournament, best described as “a cross between the Super Bowl and a medieval festival,” will take place at Dewitt Clinton Park at 52nd Street and 11th Avenue in Manhattan on November 13th and 14th, just one day before the New York premiere of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hollows: Part

SAT, NOVEMBER 6   FAMILY ART PROJECT―COLORS OF AUTUMN Colors of Autumn/Los colores del otoño View and play in multicolored autumn leaves.  Then use the eye-popping colors and varied shapes of fall foliage to make bright and vibrant collage prints. Free, and admission to the grounds is free until noon. ECOLOGY BUILDING, 10AM–1PM
