October at Wave Hill

October ushers in the poignant delights of autumn. At Wave Hill, the presence of the mighty Hudson River at our feet renders so much more potent the attributes of the season—cool, crisp air; swaths of saturated fall color; arrows of geese heading south overhead; the savory bounties of the harvest. Reserve seats for yourself and your family and friends at Wave Hill caterer Great Performances’ Farm to Table Brunch on Sunday. Combine it with a guided walk through the autumn gardens, a chance to hear artist Viviane Rombaldi Seppey speak about her installation in Glyndor Gallery, or a timely session at the Family Art Project, and you’ve carved out a day that is not just edifying in every sense of the word, but will harvest a sense of calm and balance―armor for the coming week of work and school.
